Thank you for the great review dear Lawrence. I happened to watch a recent Ri talk by Palmer on the topic a few days ago. But it’s your review that makes me keen on reading his book! A pity it wasn’t published!
Sometimes while reading, a new word crops up afterwhich I frequently run across it in other writing or conversations. The word “kluge” immediately leaps to mind. I read that word the first time in Quantum Man, and have heard or read it several times since then.
I recently reread Einstein’s Clocks, Poincare’s Maps, Empires of Time, by Peter Galison. Among many other things, I learned about the Three Body Problem. I had to read the section several times to wrap my head around it.
By coincidence, while reading Galison, you posed your review of The Primacy of Doubt, by Tim Palmer. I started reading the book today. The first concept discussed in more detail than in Alison is, you guessed it, The Three Body Problem. I guess that’s what’s meant by: Live and learn!!

Thanks. Yes. Alas Physics Today was ultimately more concerned about having my name appear in their magazine that about promoting science.
Excellent review and I can't understand why your review was rejected
They were afraid to have my name in print there...such is the modern world
...WELL DONE by Krauss...and the ideas in Palmer's book should be well received by the public as well as scientists..
