Hi Lawrence. Thanks for another interesting discussion. When talking about the clouds of Venus you said that most announcements of exciting scientific claims prove to be wrong.It brought to mind the recent announcement of Fusion Ignition at Lawrence Livermore. Just curious as to whether you think this is truly a major scientific breakthrough, or will ultimately prove to be not so important. Thanks again for all you do to advance understanding.
Thanks. I wrote a piece while ago about the livermore fusion experiment.. which has nothing to do with fusion energy as much as it has to do with monitoring the effectiveness of nuclear weapons.
