I don’t normally write about our podcasts before we release them, but this Friday we are releasing what I think may be one of our best, and perhaps most inspiring podcasts ever, filmed live in our new studio in Ojai California.

Cyan Banister is known as one of the most visionary and astute angel investors around. She was one of the first investors in Uber, SpaceX… and many more major companies. But she is so much more. She found herself homeless in Northern Arizona at the age of 13, and undaunted, eventually became a self taught software engineer, and then moved on to become a legend in Silicon Valley.

I was excited to talk to Cyan to explore her origins story. She has recently appeared on several major podcasts, but I thought there was so much more to discover about how exactly she managed to climb out of the hole she found herself in, so much more inspiration to glean about life, and also so much more to explore about modern technology. The podcast went 3.5 hours, but I guarantee you won’t notice. We are extremely excited to release it this friday.
