Hello, I greatly agree with the content of this article, clear and well explained and thank for it a lot.

I would only add that, if we want to make wokeism retreat, we must call things with their own names: colonialism, f.e., really was a white male supreme form of imperialism by the western European civilization and we must recognize the very awful consequences of that.

We must also say anyway that that was the human effort and the courage of some individuals to discover new territories and above all that the exploration of the world created the first resembling of the globalization process, which is a tendency never stopped so far.

Globalization brings with itself all the effects that the meeting and crossing of different ethnic groups produce.

Instead, we all know what it means isolation, to say an isolated human ethnic group in order to its own survival.

We need each other. But we also know that ethnic groups compete for the dominance of a territory.

The problem of any cultural system, represented maxime by the highest institutions, Universities, is thus primarily to recognize the right of the other cultures to exist and to be respected.

There are no A-class and B-class humans: there is only one human species.

But there are a lot of cultures, traditions, ways of thought any of them worth to be listened, understood and respected.

According to this reasonement, the problem of identity is in fact only a problem of cultural identity, not a problem of any human individual as more important than another human individual.

We are all humans and we are all the same thing: we compose the natural humanity.

Even an Israelian and a Palestinian are, under that view, the same and therefore equal as humans: no difference at all between them.

The same between a black skin and a white skin individual: they are equal as humans and are the same thing.

Even a man and a woman, under this reasoning, I may adfirm with sufficient safety that are the same thing and that are equal as humans.

A Palestinian and an Israelian could make peace instantaneously if only they recognized each other as humans.

Their cultures may be different, but respect is to be given to both of them, without any doubt or uncertainty or any sort of differentiation of degree.

There are no degrees in human beings.

No casts. No cathegories. No social classes.

Because, fortunately, we had first the American and then the French revolutions, and our ancestors found out, despite the Restauration period, in a slowly but never ending process, democracy, as form of the govern and republic, as form of the State.

That is not communism or marxist view.

That is referring to the most liberal form of thought. By the Enlightenment's Fathers.

Eventually, storicism still is the best way to teach and to learn history: we need to contestualize the facts in order to find out the Truth about our progress as humanity.

No wokeism anymore. No DEI anymore. Only merit and competence. And..mercy.
