#5minPhysics
During the first months of the pandemic I occupied myself while trapped at home in making over 25 short videos explaining various interesting aspects of physics
When the pandemic hit, I found myself with lots of free time, as all of us were trapped at home. I tried to think of what I could do that might be useful for the world, since I wasn’t a first responder. I settled on two things. I wrote The Physics of Climate Change, which I wrote faster than any book I have ever written. In addition, I thought I would try to create short physics videos about interesting aspects of physics that are usually a little too complex to explain in depth on television or in lectures, but which could be explained in a few minutes, with hand-drawn graphics.
Most of the videos ended up being closer to 10-15 minutes, but they were well received by a limited audience at the time. I was recently reminded of them, and turned to my personal YouTube channel to review them. When I tweeted about them, I received several messages from followers who were unaware of them. So, I thought it might make sense to send out a link for substack subscribers, so that you can have access to these.

For those of you who haven’t had a chance to look at these before. I hope you enjoy them now.
GREAT work to share this valuable information from one of the few geniuses we still have on Earth that shares the state of the art of the cosmos..thank you..
Thank you Lawerence for this information. I was also unaware of your videos! I looked at the titles and know I will enjoy all of them. You have a knack for explaining complex subject matter to non-physicists/mathematicians in a concise and perfectly understandable way.
